Kaboom Coating Mix was founded in 2018 by Joe, Freda & John Yule who shared a love for specialty foods. With a passion for great food, the Yule's created the perfect coating mix for fish, chicken, seafood, vegetables, and more. They started out selling Kaboom Coating Mix at local farmer's markets, online and local stores.
Driven by our passion for Kaboom on our fish and wild meats, we purchased Kaboom from the Yule's in 2025. Our family is passionate about the outdoors and wanted to continue the success of Kaboom Coating Mix that the Yule's created. Production of Kaboom Coating Mix resumed early April of 2025 and started hitting the shelves by mid-April.
